The Academy in scottsdale is looking for amazing PEOPLE to build the academy in scottsdale THIS SEPTEMBER.
What You Do
A creative, dynamic learning designer and facilitator with a passion for transforming how kids learn.
A gifted teacher, tired of traditional education who wants to reimagine learning, leadership, and kingdom building.
A seasoned home educator gifted at bringing learning to life in creative, relevant ways that excites and ignites kids' brains.
A seasoned coach, mentor, pastor with a gift for loving and leading youth at the intersection of fun, challenge, and undeniable growth.
We're looking for special leaders to lead our studios, from Kinder to Jr. High.
In this role, you will guide students as they master essential skills, learn to bring their own learning to life, and develop their success mindsets.
You'll need to be fun, creative, entrepreneurial, driven, and able to lead students by blending structure, standards, and challenge with play, humor, and adventure.
You should be great at connecting with kids while commanding their attention and respect without demanding it. You should be free from the shackles of traditional thinking.
You should also be great at bringing learning to life through creative projects, using questions to guide, and diving into tough questions on faith, and have enough energy to still be standing even after the pre-teens tap out.
Competitive salary. Benefits. All that stuff.
We want you to understand who we are, why we exist, and what you'd be joining.
The Academy at District Church is a K–12 private Christian leadership academy in El Dorado Hills, CA equipping kids to learn to think, to lead, and to find their purpose. We use a common-sense approach that makes kids love school.
Our staff is a high-performing team of entrepreneurial, adventurous, hard-working believers. Guides are the CEO of their studios, commissioned to love and lead learners to become critical-thinkers, courageous leaders, and responsible humans.
It might become the best team you've ever been on.
Traditional education is broken. Kids have never been more depressed, uninspired, or ill-equipped for life. The Academy is a unique solution to a pervasive problem. We're committed to doing things differently — and it takes guts to stay convicted.
Students learn through real work, taking ownership, hands-on projects, coaching, mentorship, and focused academics. This builds confidence, leadership, and real-world skills. Every six-week sprint culminates in public showcases that demonstrate purpose and growth.

Traditional schools were designed for compliance, not curiosity. The Academy is built on a fundamentally different premise: kids who are treated like leaders become leaders. When students own their learning, they stop asking "do I have to?" and start asking "what's next?"
Don't take our word for it. The families and students who live this every day are the best proof that what we're doing is working. From high school leaders to parents of K–8 learners — the results speak.
